Genie Knuckle Boom Lift Portland

Genie Knuckle boom lifts are powerful four wheel steering and four wheel drive capable machines that allow work to be done efficiently, even when the terrain is rough. The ALC 1000 electronic controls are a menu-based system that enables the user to easily calibrate the machine and its parts. System diagnostics are offered in many languages. On the Z-80/60 model, there are dual fuel options available. The optional Deutz diesel powered engine is turbocharged, but quiet. It allows for improved performance at higher altitudes. It also carries more than enough torque for better terrain- and grade-ability.



Enhanced traction for tough terrain is due to full-time positive traction and four-wheel drive. The Z-135/70 is available with four-wheel steering. Optional features on this specific unit include crab, coordinated, rear wheel and front wheel steering to give the machine added agility. on the Z-80/60 helps enhance wheel contact on uneven ground. All of these features really make Genie Knuckle Boom lifts smoother and easier to utilize on irregular terrain.



Although these models are bigger compared to other Genie engine-powered articulating Z-booms, they have features like continuous 360 degree turntable rotation and telescoping jibs to provide the user with remarkable reach and range of motion. The design of the Z-boom gives the units outstanding up and over positioning capability that varies from 8.83 meters on the Z-80/60 unit to 23.01 meters on the Z-135/70 model. The XChassis expanding axle is an innovatively designed mechanism used for retracting and extending axles out and in of stowed position. If the axle is stowed the width of the Z-135/70 model machine is just 2.46 meters. For easier transport, the Z-80/60 has fixed width axles.
