Genie Electric Scissor Lifts Portland

Genie's DC units can be ideal alternatives for optimal suitability in industrial work locations, especially when low noise and zero-emissions are required. Genie hybrid, bi-energy systems are available for applications where the machinery should drive long-distances. These units combine the best of both worlds, utilizing the flexibility of diesel-powered generators and the positives of a 48V DC machine.



To charge the DC battery and to offer the operator with long battery life between charges, Genie DC models have systems on-board. There is also a 30 amp universal smart charger system utilized to charge between shifts or overnight. The smart charger system will automatically convert to the AC voltage frequency and input. To save unnecessary power usage that would cost your company this charging system will shut down automatically once the battery pack has reached full charge. Genie DC models provide proportional drive and lift controls which help the user to use smooth and precise movements and regulate the speed of each function. This ensures accurate positioning with each lift. On non-jib models, the self-levelling platform rotates to 90 in either direction. For jib models, the jib can rotate 80 in either direction as well as 135 to 139 degrees vertically, depending on the unit utilized. Working heights range from 12.52 meters to 15.94 meters, which depends on the unit. Genie DC lifts are stable when rotating the turntable in tight spaces. Due to lack of tailswing, repositioning of the lift while the turntable is rotating is not required. Up and over reach on these kinds of machines is great for working in small spaces and the compact unit size is ideal for when lighter weight equipment are required.
