Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, various types of presses, forklifts, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
During 1963, the company started crane production. The business eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and produces 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These equipments are designed and engineered for a variety of applications and there are available units that could cover all construction needs.
FMgru has several extremely flexible lifting options for smaller companies working on private houses and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other models include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and extremely adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are standard tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are great for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These kinds of cranes are specifically designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated in close proximity to each other.
