The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around providing grabs that deal with the largest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The standard handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is about 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This translates into transporting more quantities of supplies quicker. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components is less. Through a combination of manufacturing with innovative design and high quality materials, the desirable weight ratio is obtained.



To be able to suit the specific requirements of our customer's individual requirements, grab sizes vary from less than 1 cubic yard to more than fifty cubic yards.
