Although these models are bigger compared to other Genie engine-powered articulating Z-booms, they have features like continuous 360 degree turntable rotation and telescoping jibs to provide the user with remarkable reach and range of motion. The design of the Z-boom gives the units outstanding up and over positioning capability that varies from 8.83 meters on the Z-80/60 unit to 23.01 meters on the Z-135/70 model. The XChassis expanding axle is an innovatively designed mechanism used for retracting and extending axles out and in of stowed position. If the axle is stowed the width of the Z-135/70 model machine is just 2.46 meters. For easier transport, the Z-80/60 has fixed width axles.
