Caterpillar Container handlers are full container handlers that are unequaled in lifting capacity and efficiency.

By combining modern technology, high performance and stability, Caterpillar Container handlers are the optimum choice for unloading and loading full containers. Container Handlers vary from 24 tons to 43 tons. Options comprise high-mounted cabin in the middle or low-mounted cabin at the front for the excellent handling and visibility.

Rough Terrain Forklift

At construction sites and other types of environments where the surface is not paved, the rough terrain forklift is recommended. This kind of forklift is used to transport materials around lumberyards.

These forklifts are designed for rough terrain. Nevertheless, the machinery is top heavy and should be handled carefully in rough locations. The machinery has to be level with all tires on the ground when lifting.

Steering is more difficult at higher speeds. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration does not set speed limits on forklifts. However, operators are responsible for operating forklifts at a safe speed, especially when turning and driving on rough terrain.

To prevent a tip over, do not raise a load while operating on an incline. The load should be on the uphill side of the equipment if driving up an incline. If driving down an incline, backing down is a good safety practice.
