Motorized Pallet Truck

A Motorized Pallet Truck usually goes by other names such as: Walkie-Rider, Rider or Walkie. These pieces of equipment are basically a motorized version of a pallet jack. They are available in both "Rider" versions as well as "Walkie" models.



The walkie model as the name implies, is made to allow the operator to walk along the machine while they lift and transport loads. The operator stands on a small platform on the Rider model. The rider models are ideal for frequent transporting of cargo over extended distances in manufacturing operations and warehouses. They are really maneuverable and fast.



It is not recommended to lift and move tall or unstable loads as there are no safety cages on these models. Order Selectors are usually very narrow aisle vehicles which could work in aisles of less than six feet. They are very useful pieces of equipment during physical inventories as well as in cycle counting situations.
